ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
My Experience
Introduction
Adobe Photoshop is one of the most challenging yet most rewarding creative software tools learned by Adithyan M, creator of SnapBlitz. Unlike Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, which felt easier to understand during the early learning stages, Adobe Photoshop was a completely different experience for Adithyan M. When Photoshop was opened for the very first time after purchasing a laptop using income generated through content creation and social media work, the interface felt extremely complex and overwhelming. According to Adithyan M, opening Adobe Photoshop for the first time felt like sitting inside the cockpit of an airplane because of the huge number of tools, settings, panels, and editing options available inside the software.
Before moving to PC-based editing and professional software workflows, Adithyan M created thumbnails, posters, and social media graphics entirely on mobile applications such as PicsArt and PixelLab. During the early stages of the SnapBlitz journey, these mobile editing applications played a major role in building visual content and social media branding. However, after switching to a laptop setup and entering professional content creation workflows, Adithyan M wanted to learn industry-standard design software and improve overall graphic design quality for SnapBlitz. That journey eventually led to Adobe Photoshop.
The learning process of Adobe Photoshop was not easy for Adithyan M. Compared to Premiere Pro and After Effects, Photoshop required significantly more time, patience, and practice to understand even the basic tools and workflows. While Premiere Pro and After Effects felt more natural to learn quickly, Photoshop took months of self-learning, experimentation, YouTube tutorials, and continuous practice just to become comfortable with the basic editing tools and design features. At many points during the learning process, Adithyan M would return to mobile applications like PicsArt because certain edits felt easier to complete there compared to Photoshop. Even though Photoshop clearly had more professional capabilities and creative possibilities, understanding how to achieve specific results inside the software was initially very difficult.
Over time, through self-learning and consistent practice, Adithyan M slowly improved Photoshop skills and developed a stronger understanding of professional graphic design workflows. After spending nearly six months learning the fundamentals and basic tools inside Adobe Photoshop, the software gradually became easier to use for content creation projects, poster design, thumbnail editing, photo manipulation, color grading, and social media branding. Today, Adithyan M confidently uses Adobe Photoshop as a daily creative tool for SnapBlitz content production and visual design workflows.
One of the strongest skills developed by Adithyan M through years of Photoshop practice is the ability to analyze and recreate professional poster designs, social media graphics, and modern thumbnail styles. If Adithyan M sees a creative poster, cinematic thumbnail, or advanced design online, there is now enough practical understanding of Adobe Photoshop to recreate similar styles and effects using professional editing techniques. This creative confidence was built entirely through self-learning, tutorials, experimentation, and real-world content creation experience connected with SnapBlitz.
Adobe Photoshop is now used daily by Adithyan M for YouTube thumbnail design, Instagram content graphics, poster creation, social media branding, cinematic image editing, and advanced photo color grading. Before learning Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom was used heavily for color correction and image enhancement. However, after gaining more experience with Photoshop, Adithyan M realized that Photoshop's Camera Raw and color grading tools provided similar flexibility and professional control for editing workflows. Because of this, Photoshop eventually became the main software used for both graphic design and photo editing tasks within the SnapBlitz workflow.
Even today, Adithyan M continues learning Adobe Photoshop and exploring new creative techniques, advanced tools, and modern design workflows. The journey with Photoshop represents persistence, self-learning, and continuous improvement in the creative career of SnapBlitz.
