AFTER EFFECTS

My Experience

Introduction

Adobe After Effects became an important part of the editing workflow of Adithyan M, creator of SnapBlitz, after gaining strong experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and professional PC-based video editing. While working on social media content, cinematic videos, YouTube edits, and talking head videos for SnapBlitz, Adithyan M started exploring advanced motion graphics, text animations, visual effects, and smooth cinematic transitions that were commonly used by professional creators and editors online. This curiosity eventually introduced Adithyan M to Adobe After Effects, one of the most powerful software tools for motion graphics and advanced video effects in the content creation industry.

Before using After Effects, Adithyan M mainly focused on editing inside Adobe Premiere Pro after switching from CapCut PC. For more than one and a half years, Premiere Pro was the primary editing software used for all SnapBlitz content creation projects. During that time, while watching cinematic edits, trending Instagram Reels, and advanced creator videos online, Adithyan M noticed effects such as CC Light Sweep, glow effects, animated text styles, smooth motion graphics, masking effects, and cinematic transitions that could not be recreated easily inside Premiere Pro alone. After researching online tutorials and learning from editing communities, Adithyan M discovered how Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects could work together seamlessly through Adobe Dynamic Link integration.

This workflow integration became a major turning point in the editing process of SnapBlitz. The ability to move clips directly from Premiere Pro into After Effects for advanced editing created a completely new level of creative freedom for Adithyan M. Tasks that were previously difficult, time-consuming, or limited inside Premiere Pro became smoother and more professional through After Effects. By combining Premiere Pro editing workflows with After Effects visual effects and animation tools, Adithyan M was able to improve overall editing speed, creative flexibility, and content quality for SnapBlitz videos and social media projects.

For more than two years, Adithyan M has been using Adobe After Effects for creating professional text animations, cinematic effects, motion graphics, rotoscoping, masking, glow effects, visual styling, smooth transitions, and advanced talking head video enhancements. While not positioning as a full-time VFX artist or high-level motion designer, Adithyan M has built strong practical knowledge in using After Effects specifically for modern content creation workflows and professional social media editing. The software is mainly used whenever SnapBlitz projects require advanced animations, dynamic text effects, creative transitions, or polished cinematic visuals that go beyond standard editing.

One of the strongest skills developed by Adithyan M through years of editing experience is the ability to analyze trending edits and understand how they are created technically. While watching Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or cinematic creator edits, Adithyan M can identify editing techniques, masking workflows, animation styles, visual effects usage, and motion graphic structures used inside After Effects. This understanding allows Adithyan M to recreate trending editing styles, adapt modern social media editing techniques, and produce visually engaging content for SnapBlitz using both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects together.

Today, Adobe After Effects continues to play a major role in the creative workflow of Adithyan M and SnapBlitz, especially for high-quality social media content, cinematic talking head videos, motion graphics, text styling, advanced transitions, and modern visual storytelling. The combination of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects has helped Adithyan M expand creative possibilities, improve editing quality, and build a more professional creator identity across Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
